The Cabbage Merchant by Boj

Format: Commander

Commander: The Cabbage Merchant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green Food-token value deck helmed by The Cabbage Merchant, a commander that generates incidental Food when opponents cast noncreature spells and can convert two Foods into one mana of any colour. The primary game plan is to amass a critical mass of Food tokens through a web of synergies-Peregrin Took, Academy Manufactor, Parallel Lives, Tireless Provisioner-then use that resource base to either deploy enormous creatures like Feasting Troll King and Ancient Adamantoise or to finish with an overwhelming combat step via Overwhelming Stampede or Ezuri's Predation. The deck wins through combat inevitability rather than infinite combos; every token is a mana source, a life buffer, and a potential body. The commander is a useful enabler but not essential-the deck can execute its plan perfectly well from the 99.
