Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard control and resource-attrition deck commanded by Tinybones, Trinket Thief. Its core game plan revolves around rapidly stripping opponents of cards through symmetrical and repeatable discard spells like Arterial Flow, Delirium Skeins, and Necrogen Mists, turning Tinybones into a steady card-advantage engine from Turn 3 onward. Once opponents are empty-handed, the deck locks down the game using oppressive continuous tax and stax permanents such as Oppression, Painful Quandary, and Tergrid, God of Fright. The deck closes out games by leveraging passive rack damage from Liliana's Caress, Shrieking Affliction, and Bandit's Talent, repeatedly activating Tinybones's 10-life drain ability, resolving a massive Torment of Hailfire, or executing an infinite Magecraft drain combo with Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog. It excels at neutralizing reactive strategies by starving opponents of options while steadily advancing its own board.
