Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon commands a five-color dragon tribal deck focused on mana acceleration, board dominance, and overwhelming aerial assault. The commander provides a constant cost reduction through its eminence ability from the command zone, allowing you to cast expensive dragon threats ahead of curve. The primary game plan develops mana and haste enablers early, followed by high-impact engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Dragon Tempest. You win by delivering massive combat damage across all opponents, creating overwhelming token swarms with Lathliss, Dragon Queen, or chaining explosive mana from Old Gnawbone and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient to overwhelm the entire table.
