This deck is an Esper Spellslinger Attrition strategy commanded by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. It focuses on casting noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater to simultaneously drain opponents, gain life, and draw cards whenever 4 or more life is lost in a turn. The early game focuses on deploying mana rocks and defensive pillows like Propaganda and Authority of the Consuls. In the mid game, Y'shtola pairs with token engines such as Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, G'raha Tia, Scion Reborn, and Summon: Good King Mog XII to turn every spell cast into both life total attrition and an expanding army.
