Winter Take 2 by Orzhov667

Format: Commander

Commander: Winter, Cynical Opportunist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Winter, Cynical Opportunist is a Golgari self-mill reanimator. The deck's early turns are dedicated to filling the graveyard with big permanents and reaching delirium so Winter can recur one permanent each end step. One-shot reanimation spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Whip of Erebos supplement that engine, while land-recursion effects and Winter's attack trigger keep the graveyard stocked. The deck wins through combat with oversized trampling creatures; Overwhelming Stampede and Summon: Titan turn a board of mid-size threats into lethal damage. It is grindy and resilient to creature removal but vulnerable to graveyard hate and stack-based combo decks.
