Deck overview

This deck is a Nekusar, the Mindrazer group slug and wheels strategy that wins by turning card draw and discard into lethal damage. The deck accelerates into draw and discard punishers such as Nekusar, Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, Liliana's Caress, and Megrim. Once a damage engine is active, resolving wheel effects like Windfall, Whispering Madness, Time Spiral, or Teferi's Puzzle Box inflicts massive simultaneous damage across all three opponents while refilling the pilot's hand. To control the pace of the game, the deck employs symmetric stax and attrition pieces such as Oppression, Overburden, and Tainted Aether, breaking parity through Waste Not triggers that generate excess mana, tokens, and extra cards. The deck's primary operational bottleneck is an unoptimized mana base containing 34 basic Swamps and limited colored fixing, which creates color friction for casting blue and red spells on curve. Nevertheless, its high density of redundant punishers and wheels ensures a resilient and inevitable clock.
