Deck overview

This Jeskai Superfriends deck leverages Commodore Guff alongside a dense suite of 21 planeswalkers to control the board, generate compounding card advantage, and close the game through burn and combat. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC mana rocks and pillowfort barriers such as Silent Arbiter, Wall of Denial, and Tomik, Orzhov Lawmage to safeguard planeswalkers from combat damage. By Turn 4, Guff enters to accelerate planeswalker deployment and generate loyalty advantage. In the midgame, asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast and Promise of Loyalty clear opposing boards while leaving your legendary planeswalkers intact. Multipliers like Oath of Teferi, The Chain Veil, and Deepglow Skate quickly ramp loyalty toward ultimate abilities, while Sarkhan the Masterless and Guff's −3 ability provide lethal, table-wide damage to close the game on Turn 8.
