Deck overview

This Mardu deck is commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One, focusing on an aggressive combat strategy that doubles all attack triggers. Supported by an efficient mana base and nine 1-to-2 CMC ramp pieces, the deck curves out rapidly into high-synergy token generators such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Zurgo, Thunder's Decree. These token swarms fuel explosive drain and burn payoffs like Mishra, Claimed by Gix and Arabella, Abandoned Doll, creating decisive life swings across all three opponents simultaneously. Extra combat spells such as Waves of Aggression and World at War accelerate the clock, while Helm of the Host combined with Aurelia, the Warleader or Combat Celebrant provides a clean infinite combat win condition. The deck excels at rapidly generating wide, lethal boards and sustained pressure, but remains vulnerable to exile-based board wipes and instant-speed combat disruption due to a lack of stack interaction.
