Deck overview

This Esper deck is a high-efficiency token-combo shell built around Marneus Calgar, who draws a card whenever a token you control enters - turning every token generator into a relentless draw engine. The primary plan uses sacrifice outlets (Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, Warren Soultrader) and mana-generating effects (Pitiless Plunderer, Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff) to assemble infinite loops: sacrifice a creature, produce treasure, use that treasure to cast/reanimate something that creates tokens, and net mana or card draw until you hit Walking Ballista for lethal damage. Into the Flood Maw, Retraction Helix, and Academy synegies also tap into unbounded bounce loops. The deck backs its combos with a dense interaction suite and several token swarm finishers (e.g., Exalted Sunborn, Ocelot Pride, [Stridehangar Automaton]]), giving it multiple paths to victory.
