Deck overview

This Sultai deck pairs Muldrotha, the Gravetide with Gyruda, Doom of Depths as a companion, requiring every nonland card in the list to have an even mana value. By trading away odd-cost staples like one-mana mana dorks and low-cost tutors, the list maximizes dense two-mana ramp, self-mill engines, and overwhelming late-game reanimation bombs. The deck smoothly accelerates in the opening turns using rocks, creatures, and self-mill enablers before landing Muldrotha or secondary reanimators on Turn 5. From Turn 6 onward, the deck drops oppressive praetors and heavy hitters like Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Archon of Cruelty. These threats lock down opposing mana, empty opponent hands, and create massive combat boards. Backed by solid two-mana counterspells and instant protection, the deck systematically grinds out opponents before closing the game around Turn 8 through unblockable flying damage and repeated resource drain.
