Deck overview

This Rakdos deck centers on The Great Goblin, converting counter placement and creature deaths into direct damage and substantial card flow. The primary strategy rapidly deploys low-cost Goblins, generates Army tokens through amass mechanics, and triggers counter placement via cards like Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin and Legion Warboss. Each counter placed burns opponents directly, while aristocrat sacrifice outlets turn dying tokens into impulse card advantage. The deck transitions into a lethal clock on turn 5 using explosive damage multipliers like Shared Animosity, Krenko, Mob Boss, or Assault on Osgiliath, closing out the game across one response cycle. A strong removal package keeps opposing commanders and critical combo pieces in check, while Skullclamp and Warren Soultrader ensure continuous resource replenishment. Although vulnerable to mass sweepers, the deck features strong functional redundancy and can pivot smoothly into pure tribal combat if the commander is removed.
