Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Dimir competitive artifact storm list commanded by Golbez, Crystal Collector. While Golbez provides incidental surveil smoothing on artifact deployments and turns on free commander spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick, the deck's true engine is rooted in explosive mana velocity and compact combo finishes. Powered by format-staple positive-mana rocks, rituals, and premier card advantage engines—notably Ad Nauseam, Bolas's Citadel, Necropotence, and The One Ring—the deck seeks to assemble an overwhelming storm turn as early as Turn 3. The primary route converts infinite card draw and mana into an instant table kill through Aetherflux Reservoir, using free countermagic to defend the win attempt. Alternate backup avenues include Mystic Forge and Sensei's Divining Top loops, or generating infinite colorless mana using Basalt Monolith and Forensic Gadgeteer. It trades proactive board denial for extreme proactive speed and stack-based resilience.
