Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy engine centered on Kona, Rescue Beastie. By leveraging a dense suite of 1-CMC mana accelerators and non-combat tap outlets—including vehicles like Dodgy Jalopy and Veloheart Bike, as well as tap-dorks and artifacts like Springleaf Drum and Relic of Legends—the deck reliably casts Kona on Turn 3 and taps it safely before combat ends. During the second main phase, Kona's Survival trigger cheats colossal permanents into play, such as Worldspine Wurm, Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Apex Altisaur, or God-Pharaoh's Statue. The resulting power immediately enables massive card draw through spells like Greater Good and Rishkar's Expertise, refilling the hand to cheat additional threats each turn. The deck finishes games by overwhelming the table with trampling combat damage between Turns 5 and 6.
