Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck uses Samut, Hazoret's Champion as a low-cost, reliable source of haste from the command zone. The deck focuses on accelerating its mana curve through artifact mana and specialized Dragon cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant. Once sufficient mana is available, it deploys massive flying threats such as Utvara Hellkite, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of Valkas that immediately attack without giving opponents a sorcery-speed window to react. Direct-damage triggers from Dragon Tempest and combat steps clear blockers and pressure life totals simultaneously. While the deck boasts explosive damage potential and fast recovery from board wipes, its interaction package is largely restricted to creature and artifact removal, leaving it vulnerable to instant-speed combo decks and heavy enchantment-based strategies.
