Deck overview

This deck is a focused Naya lands and token-swarm strategy helmed by Hazezon, Shaper of Sand. The primary engine revolves around cycling and sacrificing Deserts, then replaying them from the graveyard via Hazezon's static ability to generate pairs of 1/1 Sand Warrior tokens on each land drop. The early turns establish mana acceleration and load the graveyard with Deserts. By Turn 4, Hazezon enters to start consistent token generation. Midgame plays (Turns 5–6) multiply this board presence through payoffs like Divine Visitation, Desert Warfare, Ancient Greenwarden, and Scute Swarm, while Baylen, the Haymaker converts tokens into mana and card draw. The deck aims to close games across Turns 6 to 8 by overrunning the table with mass pump effects such as Rumbleweed, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Aragorn, Hornburg Hero, while remaining vulnerable to sweepers and graveyard exile.
