Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is spearheaded by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden, leveraging a dedicated Human tribal shell to produce an overwhelming board of tokens with trample and haste. It establishes early mana development and utility creatures on Turns 1 through 3, curves into Éowyn on Turn 4 or 5, and reliably triggers her ability to generate two 2/2 Human Knights every combat while drawing an extra card each turn cycle. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by stacking anthem multipliers like Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, or Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart. Defensively, it is bolstered by an elite suite of board protection and free countermagic, including Teferi's Protection, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, which effectively shields its vulnerable go-wide creature base from opposing wipes.
