Commander: Kuroki, Thief of Talents

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kuroki, Thief of Talents leads a mono-black discard-control deck. The primary plan is to strip every opponent's hand, punish hellbent players with rack effects and upkeep drains, and use Kuroki as either a growing commander-damage threat or a theft engine that turns an opponent's forced draw into a spell. Secondary lines revolve around Tinybones, Trinket Thief, the hidden commander: once hands are empty, its {4}{B}{B} activation drains 10 life from each opponent. Transform permanents and MDFCs such as Aclazotz, Sheoldred, Tergrid, and Agadeem's Awakening provide recursion and mana flexibility. The deck can function without Kuroki, but it loses its fastest evasive clock and its repeatable way to exploit draws.
