Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger strategy led by Shiko and Narset, Unified, designed to turn low-cost noncreature spells into immense board presence and card advantage. By leveraging the flurry mechanic, the commander rewards you for casting two spells each turn, either by copying targeted spells or drawing extra cards. The 99 is densely packed with efficient cantrips, cheap mana rocks, and magecraft payoffs that generate incremental value. As the game progresses, token creators like Monastery Mentor and Third Path Iconoclast build a formidable prowess army, while burn engines like Guttersnipe and Caldera Pyremaw pressure life totals. High-impact spells such as Mana Geyser, Lier, Disciple of the Drowned, and Will of the Jeskai facilitate explosive mid-game turns where the deck can chain multiple spells in a single rotation, converting small cantrips into lethal combat damage and burn.
