This Mardu deck wins by swarming 1/1 tokens and attacking. Squall, Gunblade Duelist is a damage amplifier, not the engine. You choose 1 as he enters, then each attack with 1/1s deals damage equal to Squall's power to the defending player. The primary plan is to flood the board with Adeline, Anim Pakal, Caesar, Bitterblossom and other token makers, double the attack triggers with Isshin, and close with combat, Impact Tremors, or Throne of the God-Pharaoh. Secondary paths are Halo Fountain's win with fifteen tapped creatures and Arabella drain. Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Windcrag Siege act as hidden commanders and the deck wins without Squall.
