Deck overview

The deck uses Giada, Font of Hope to accelerate Angel spells and make each later Angel larger. Its main route is a midrange flying board supported by lifegain and counters from Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, Archangel of Thune, and related cards. Court of Grace, Angelic Accord, Resplendent Angel, and Valkyrie Harbinger add bodies, while The Gaffer, Exemplar of Light, The Arkenstone, and The One Ring help replace cards. The deck usually becomes operational around turn 6 and creates a critical board around turn 8, then needs several attacks to eliminate the table. Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista provide a compact infinite-damage alternative, but the list has limited access to both pieces and limited protection. Removal and board protection are respectable, but the deck is vulnerable to sweepers, exile, bounce, and disruption before its expensive Angels are established.
