Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Voltron and Aristocrats Midrange strategy commanded by Ygra, Eater of All. Ygra turns every other creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact and gains two +1/+1 counters whenever a Food enters a graveyard. The list capitalizes on this unique static ability by turning artifact-destruction spells like Force of Vigor and Tear Asunder into universal creature removal while using symmetric edict creatures like Fleshbag Marauder and Plaguecrafter to grow Ygra into a massive lethal threat. The deck ramps aggressively on turns 1-2, establishes Ygra on turn 4, and applies overwhelming commander damage pressure on turn 5. Evasion pieces like Shadowspear and Garruk's Uprising push lethal damage through blockers, while Viridian Revel and power-based draw spells provide continuous card advantage to sustain interaction and engine recovery.
