Deck overview

This Jund treasure deck is helmed by Vazi, Keen Negotiator, a commander who turns Treasures into a card-draw and counter- engine by giving opponents tokens and then profiting when they spend those tokens. The primary game plan is to generate a massive number of Treasure tokens through creatures like Goldspan Dragon, Grim Hireling, and Tireless Provisioner, multiply them with Jolene, the Plunder Queen, Xorn, Academy Manufactor, and Primal Vigor, and then convert those tokens into a win via artifact sacrifice payoffs like Mayhem Devil, Disciple of the Vault, Marionette Master, or the alt-win conditions Revel in Riches and Hellkite Tyrant. The deck also uses Descent into Avernus to build a ticking clock and Second Harvest for a one-turn explosion. Combat is secondary, serving mainly to trigger treasure generators.
