Deck overview

Super Shredder rewards the deck for sacrificing creatures, lands, and other permanents by growing into a threatening attacker. The main plan is a sacrifice engine built from Viscera Seer, Ophiomancer, and Dictate of Erebos. Ophiomancer supplies recurring Snakes, Viscera Seer converts them into selection, and Dictate of Erebos forces opposing creature sacrifices. Death payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance turn the attrition into life loss, while Grim Haruspex, Morbid Opportunist, and Skullclamp refill the hand. The deck can produce strong creature-based control around turn 6, but it does not reliably assemble a lethal payoff or total lockout. Its mana is fair rather than explosive, its tutors are slow, and its protection is narrow. Shredder, Shadow Master offers a powerful alternate combat route, but it needs evasion, a later attack, and successful combat damage.
