Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Rakdos control and attrition engine commanded by The Scorpion God. The strategy centers on distributing -1/-1 counters to shrink opposing boards, generate continuous card advantage, and trigger potent death payoffs. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and card-draw spells to deploy The Scorpion God on Turn 4. By Turns 5 and 6, the deck layers powerful synergy pieces such as Nest of Scarabs, Blowfly Infestation, Kulrath Knight, and Maha, Its Feathers Night. These cards lock down enemy combat steps and wipe creatures on each upkeep. As opposing creatures die, the deck draws fresh resources, steals opposing threats with Necroskitter or Grave Betrayal, and amasses a lethal swarm of 1/1 Insect tokens. Finish lines include overwhelming combat damage across suppressed boards or machine-gunning life totals with All Will Be One. The deck excels at grinding out creature-heavy tables through superior card flow and board suppression.
