Santa ahh deck by Darkay

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a political attrition deck helmed by Jon Irenicus, Shattered One. The core strategy is to deploy creatures with severe drawbacks (Phyrexian Negator, Archfiend of the Dross, Rotting Regisaur) and use Jon's end-step ability to donate them to opponents, goaded and with +1/+1 counters. The donated creatures attack each turn, forcing opponents to deal with the downsides while you draw cards from their attacks. Backup donate spells like Fateful Handoff and Wrong Turn supplement the commander. Card draw engines (Rhystic Study, Phyrexian Arena, Black Market Connections) keep the hand full. The win condition is attrition: opponents lose life from upkeep triggers, combat damage, and sacrifice effects. A secondary infect win via Blighted Agent is slow. Protection pieces (Propaganda, No Mercy, Crawlspace) and counterspells help you survive while the donated creatures do the work.
