Deck overview

This deck is a Naya Landfall and +1/+1 Counters midrange deck commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender. The strategy revolves around turning lands and nontoken artifacts into resilient, hasty creature threats using the earthbend mechanic. Because earthbent lands return to the battlefield tapped whenever they die or are exiled, the deck turns opposing removal into permanent ramp while maintaining continuous board presence. The deck accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2, casts Toph, the First Metalbender on turn 3 or 4 to begin animating lands, and presents a critical threat on turn 5 with heavy hitters like Bumi, Unleashed, The Earth King, or Felidar Retreat. Opponents face continuous pressure from scaling trample attackers, extra combats, and overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede, closing out the game around turn 7. In addition to combat beatdown, the list includes an opportunistic two-card infinite combo between Basking Broodscale and Rosie Cotton of South Lane. Robust instant-speed protection and death-rebound mechanics ensure rapid engine recovery.
