Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive Mardu tribal-aristocrats strategy that leverages the Eminence mechanic to generate continuous board presence without spending mana. By casting low-curve Vampires on turns one through three, the deck rapidly establishes a wide token army. Midgame turns convert this presence into lethal pressure through explosive combat anthems like Shared Animosity, scaling drain engines like Sanctum Seeker and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and draw engines like Skullclamp and Champion of Dusk. If combat stalls, the deck pivots into aristocrat life drain or executes an infinite combo with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Protection spells such as Clever Concealment shield key turns, while Eminence ensures the deck rebuilds immediately after sweepers.
