Deck overview

This Rakdos Spellslinger deck is commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, who steadily generates 0/1 Wizard tokens that deal damage to each opponent whenever noncreature spells are cast. Once four Wizards assemble, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage to create a lethal damage engine. The deck utilizes low-cost mana rocks and rituals to deploy Kuja early, amasses Wizard pingers like Coruscation Mage and Black Waltz No. 3, and leverages damage multipliers such as City on Fire and Virtue of Courage to rapidly incinerate opposing life totals. While the strategy lacks infinite combos, it compensates with high density of fast mana, efficient single-target interaction, and explosive burn turns that eliminate all three opponents simultaneously around Turn 6.
