Deck overview

This mono-white combat deck turns inexpensive, high-toughness defenders into aggressive beatdown threats using Ghalta the Immovable. By deploying walls with 6 to 8 toughness in the opening turns, Ghalta can be cast for as little as a single white mana as early as Turn 3 or 4. Once Ghalta is in play, defenders ignore their attack restrictions and assign combat damage equal to their toughness, rapidly converting low-cost blockers into heavy hitters. The deck supplements this strategy with asymmetric tribal sweepers like Everything Comes to Dust and Kindred Judgment, as well as pillowfort elements like Crawlspace to deter counterattacks. Its main vulnerabilities are a heavy reliance on the commander for damage conversion, susceptibility to creature board wipes, and a lack of sustained card draw engines in mono-white.
