Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Doctor Doom, Unrivaled, combining Marvel Villain tribal synergies, life-drain attrition, and a potent infinite combo finish. Early turns focus on mana deployment and resolving Doctor Doom to provide consistent card advantage through its tap ability, while lifelink combat damage offsets the life loss. The midgame develops board presence through Villain cost-reducers like Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord and Tombstone, Career Criminal, while controlling opposing boards with efficient spot removal and sweepers like Extinction Event. The deck closes out games either through sustained life-drain pressure and reanimated beaters or via an instant-kill two-card combo with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror.
