Deck overview

This is a classic wheel-and-token build helmed by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The plan is straightforward: cast Xyris, resolve a wheel like Windfall or Day's Undoing, and convert every card each opponent draws into a 1/1 Snake. Token doublers - Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Second Harvest - explode that army, and the deck then closes through one of several overlapping payoffs: Craterhoof Behemoth for a trampling alpha strike, Shared Animosity/Beastmaster Ascension for pump, Devilish Valet for exponential power, or the ETB drain trio of Impact Tremors, Witty Roastmaster, and Molten Gatekeeper that can kill on the wheel turn itself. Backup token engines (Krenko, Mob Boss, Scute Swarm, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Hornet Nest) keep the swarm plan alive even when Xyris is offline, and a dense protection suite (Heroic Intervention, Eldrazi Monument, boots, hexproof instants) shields the critical turn.
