Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Equipment and combat-centric build commanded by Ratonhnhaké꞉ton. The game plan leverages the commander's initial hexproof and unblockable attributes to safely connect on early turns, generating Assassin creature tokens while recurring Equipment directly from the graveyard to the battlefield. Mid-game turns focus on suiting up the commander or secondary legends like Squall, SeeD Mercenary and Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima with high-impact weapons such as Machinist's Arsenal, Caduceus, Staff of Hermes, and Buster Sword. While the deck features an extensive suite of protective artifacts including Lightning Greaves and Brotherhood Regalia, its mana base operates on a low land count with multiple enter-tapped lands, creating tempo constraints. Without combo finishes, the deck wins through incremental, evasive combat damage over several turn cycles.
