The Horror (Playtest) by user8186539

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain N'ghathrod

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Captain N'ghathrod leads a Dimir mill-and-theft deck. The primary plan is to mill opponents with Horror combat triggers and mass-mill spells, then use the Captain's end-step trigger to reanimate the best milled artifact or creature. Secondary paths are two-card combos: Bruvac the Grandiloquent plus Maddening Cacophony or Kitsune's Technique decks each opponent, and Duskmantle Guildmage plus Mindcrank or The Master of Lake-town creates a life-loss/mill loop. Bruvac acts as a hidden commander because several wins depend on his doubling effect. The deck also steals threats with Gilded Drake, Treachery, and Nautiloid Ship.
