Deck overview

An early-life-gain/extort deck that spends the first turns building life and mana, then ends with one oversized X spell. Sorin of House Markov is primarily the front-end engine: his lifelink/extort make him transform, while Sorin, Ravenous Neonate provides Food, life-based damage, and theft. The hidden commander is Azor's Gateway // Sanctum of the Sun; once transformed, it turns accumulated life into mana. Debt to the Deathless, Exsanguinate, or Torment of Hailfire then becomes lethal. A huge token finish via Finale of Glory or White Sun's Zenith is a workable backup, with recursion and density determined by the plan. The deck is broad but has very weak stack interaction.
