Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jund aggressive voltron strategy commanded by Korvold, Gleeful Glutton. It uses diverse permanent types—including artifact creatures, enchantment seals, and fetchlands—to accelerate mana while setting up its graveyard. By sacrificing multiple permanent types in a single turn, the deck discounts Korvold's casting cost and deploys him on turn 4. Because Korvold has built-in flying, trample, and haste, he attacks immediately to deal damage, place +1/+1 counters, and draw three to five cards per combat. The deck converts this massive card advantage into rapid game finishes using extra combat phases like Seize the Day, damage distribution from Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, and table-wide sweeps from Chandra's Ignition. Resilient backup lines in Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King ensure steady pressure even if the primary commander faces removal.
