Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-green stompy strategy built around resolving Ghalta, Primal Hunger as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. By leveraging over-statted, high-efficiency creatures like Hunted Troll, Consulate Dreadnought, and Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig, the deck rapidly satisfies Ghalta's cost-reduction clause. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield, it acts as both a rapid lethal clock and an engine enabler, fueling immense card draw through spells like Return of the Wildspeaker, Garruk, Primal Hunter, and Soul's Majesty. While the deck excels at generating overwhelming power and trample pressure, it relies heavily on creature permanents staying on board. It lacks countermagic and stack interaction, making it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and instant-speed targeted removal. Nevertheless, redundant high-power threats provide resilience against spot removal, allowing the deck to close games through combat damage by Turn 7.
