Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Wheels strategy led by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The plan accelerates into early symmetrical draw pieces and damage-on-draw permanents like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. Once a damage engine is established, the deck chains mass wheel sorceries such as Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Time Reversal. Each wheel forces every opponent to discard their hand and draw up to seven new cards, triggering massive simultaneous burn from Nekusar and supporting punishers. Secondary engines like Waste Not, Liliana's Caress, and Megrim convert opponent discards into extra mana, creature tokens, and life loss. While the deck possesses explosive burst potential and high functional redundancy, it frequently gives opponents full hands of interaction, requiring careful timing to navigate opposing removal before closing the game around Turn 7.
