Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu token swarm strategy led by Squall, Gunblade Duelist. By naming 1 as Squall enters, the deck turns every 1/1 creature into a potent burn catalyst. The game plan relies on dense, low-cost token generators such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Ainok Strike Leader to create attacking 1/1 tokens directed at each opponent. When these tokens attack, Squall triggers separately for each defending player, dealing 3 direct damage per opponent and generating massive multi-target pressure. The deck compounds this damage clock with burn amplifiers like Impact Tremors, Throne of the God-Pharaoh, and Isshin, Two Heavens as One.
