Angels: They're Just Like Us, but Cooler and with Wings (Secret Lair Commander 2023 Precon Decklist) by user1046258

Format: Commander

Commander: Gisela, the Broken Blade

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-white Angel tribal deck builds a lifegain engine that creates tokens and grows the board. Gisela, the Broken Blade serves as an efficient flying, first-strike lifelink threat; you meld her with Bruna, the Fading Light into Brisela, Voice of Nightmares only when both are available to lock opponents from casting most spells. The main win is combat with anthem-boosted Angels and tokens, supported by Angel of Destiny's alternate life-total win and The Book of Exalted Deeds' enlightened counter lock. Giada, Font of Hope acts as a hidden commander, ramping and growing Angels. No infinite combos exist; the deck wins through incremental advantage and resilient recursion.
