Rachel's Notary Hobbits | Game Knights #87 by Nathan97

Format: Commander

Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Notary Hobbits are the linchpin of a mono-green ramp deck that turns a small Halfling board into an enormous colorless-mana engine. The commander's enters-the-battlefield trigger makes two nonlegendary copies, and each copy's tap ability adds one colorless mana for every Halfling you control, so adding changelings or doubling tokens creates a quadratic mana jump. The primary finish is an X spell: Squall Line to deal 40 to every player, or a huge Walking Ballista. Secondary beatdown paths use Ulamog or Kozilek with annihilator and cast triggers, backed by Ugin and Genesis Wave for late-game reach. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; the deck is intentionally built around the single engine of The Notary Hobbits.
