Deck overview

Built around Isshin, Two Heavens as One, this is a Mardu attack-trigger midrange deck that wants to flood the battlefield with creatures that generate value when they attack, then close the game through repeated combat phases. Isshin doubles every "when a creature attacks" trigger, turning token makers such as Hero of Bladehold and Skyknight Vanguard into miniature armies and pumps like Fervent Charge into a game-ending anthem. The primary path to victory is combat damage from an overwhelming, multiplier-fueled board, accelerated by Scourge of the Throne's doubled extra-combat trigger. The deck has no infinite combos; instead it relies on redundant attack triggers, token generation, haste enablers, and a handful of flexible removal spells. Secondary lines include casting opponents' cards through Etali, Primal Storm and Laelia, the Blade Reforged, plus goad effects from Vengeful Ancestor and Coercive Impetus to clear blockers and redirect attacks.
