Format: Commander

Commander: Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Orzhov aristocrats list is built around Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim as a repeatable drain engine. The primary plan is to generate small tokens and recursive creatures, sacrifice them through Bartolome del Presidio, and trigger death drains from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Bastion of Remembrance, and Corpse Knight. Life gain is converted into damage by Vizkopa Guildmage, Starscape Cleric, and Rhox Faithmender. Secondary paths are a wide token beatdown finish with Teysa Karlov, Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Odric, and Elenda, plus a one-sided reset with Fumigate or Martial Coup after building a board. The commander is single-faced and exactly what the deck wants; no alternate face exists. Teysa Karlov is the closest thing to a hidden commander, roughly doubling the entire death-trigger engine.
