Deck overview

Winter Soldier, Icy Assassin is an Orzhov Equipment voltron deck. The primary plan is to attach multiple Equipment pieces to Winter Soldier, whose +2/+0 per Equipment turns cheap artifacts into commander-damage kills, while using his graveyard ability to dodge removal. Secondary paths use Captain America, Liberator and Danitha, Benalia's Hope to cheat Equipment into play and go wide with Soldier tokens; Squall, SeeD Mercenary works as a hidden commander by granting double strike to the attacking-alone creature. The deck draws heavily with Sram and Puresteel Paladin, then finishes through large unblockable or double-striking swings. It has no counterspells and folds to artifact/enchantment hate.
