Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Landfall powerhouse commanded by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The strategy accelerates mana in the opening turns through efficient land ramp, casts Aesi on Turn 4, and uses the extra land drops to trigger continuous card draw. With an overflowing hand and an expansive mana base, the deck deploys token engines like Scute Swarm, Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer, and Zendikar's Roil. Burst ramp spells like Traverse the Outlands trigger exponential landfall triggers, creating an overwhelming army on Turn 6. The deck clears blockers using asymmetric bounce spells like Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets or locks combat with Stormtide Leviathan, closing the game on Turn 7 through decisive combat damage. A tight suite of cheap countermagic and targeted removal protects key pieces and disrupts opposing win attempts.
