Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Golgari-based Sultai Elf tribal deck that bridges traditional board swarm with graveyard self-mill synergies. The early game establishes classic mana dorks to build significant green mana and wider boards. Self-mill cards like Buried Alive, Ripples of Undeath, and Cantankerous Keepers fill the graveyard with utility Elves, feeding Thranduil's activated-ability absorption while fueling reanimation engines. The deck secures victories by generating infinite mana through Staff of Domination combined with multi-mana Elves like Priest of Titania or Elvish Archdruid, funneling it into Ezuri overruns, Tyvar pumps, or massive Finale of Devastation swings across all opponents.
