Deck overview

Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar leads an aggressive Selesnya +1/+1 counter and Aura/Equipment deck. The primary plan is to play cheap evasive creatures, pump them past their base power, and attack under Kutzil's 'no spells on your turn' shield to draw cards while building a commander-damage threat. The secondary path is a go-wide strike with flyers/double strike after Master Chef and All That Glitters scale the board. Kutzil is both the card advantage engine and the turn-protection piece; if it is answered, the deck becomes a much slower fair-beats deck. There is no hidden commander; the Backgrounds Master Chef and Flaming Fist serve as fixed enchantment engines in the 99.
