Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov pillowfort, political aikido, and combat attrition strategy helmed by Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts. The deck operates by discouraging and restricting attacks directed at its pilot through deterrents like Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, Blind Obedience, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer, while redirecting opposing aggression using goad auras and token incentives such as Combat Calligrapher and Breena, the Demagogue. As opponents deplete their life totals and creature resources battling one another, the deck stabilizes behind asymmetrical board sweepers like Promise of Loyalty and Tragic Arrogance. It transitions into the endgame by deploying towering, evasive threats like Sunscorch Regent, Necropolis Regent, and Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, enhanced by Duelist's Heritage or swung back instantly with a blowout Inkshield. The deck combines defensive resilience with inevitable combat scaling to grind out multiplayer victories.
