Deck overview

This Azorius midrange deck focuses on creating massive armies of creature tokens while leveraging card-draw replacement engines to maintain card advantage. Commanded by Bard, King of Dale, the list turns every supplementary card draw into double cards and doubles all token creation. The deck ramps during the early turns with 2-mana artifacts, deploys incremental token producers such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Horn of Gondor, and transitions into devastating wide boards through burst token spells like Increasing Devotion and Finale of Glory. Anthems such as Cathars' Crusade, Goldnight Commander, and Inspiring Leader provide power scaling, while Akroma's Memorial grants haste and evasion to close games. While the deck possesses explosive growth and resilient backup token doublers in the 99, its reliance on combat damage and high-CMC commander deployment requires careful sequencing around opponent sweepers.
