Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Jeskai aggressive build centered on Sonic the Hedgehog. The strategy focuses on curving out with low-cost creatures featuring haste and flash, casting the commander on turn 4, and attacking immediately to accumulate +1/+1 counters across the entire attacking board. As combat connections connect, engines such as Bident of Thassa and Professional Face-Breaker generate card flow and Treasure tokens to maintain velocity. The deck transitions into a lethal clock on turn 6 by resolving powerful extra-combat spells and damage multipliers, including Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Blade Historian. While the deck features robust protection in Boros Charm and Fierce Guardianship, it lacks dedicated creature tutors, requiring sustained combat damage to draw into its decisive finishers. The deck closes out games through consecutive combat steps by turn 8.
