Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Voltron and extra combat deck led by Lightning, Army of One. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Lightning early, attaching high-impact Equipment, and leveraging her built-in first strike, trample, and Stagger damage-doubling trigger to apply rapid pressure. The deck features a dense package of extra combat spells such as Relentless Assault, Seize the Day, and Karlach, Fury of Avernus, which amplify damage output exponentially across multiple attack steps. To close out games deterministically, the deck includes a two-card infinite combat loop using Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine. Efficient Equipment tutors like Fighter Class and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary ensure consistent access to utility weapons, while defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Clever Concealment protect key permanents from opposing removal. While vulnerable to early disruption and lacking proactive stax pieces, the deck presents explosive lethal damage.
